AUSTRALIAN BASED CERTIFIED MODERN PEARL SPECIALIST

Sam & Danielle's Hinterland Wedding

Bride & Groom kissing

Simple, timeless & elegant was at the forefront of this couples Hinterland Celebration. Choosing a property that was so beautiful they just had to enhance it meant the pair didn't go overboard on decorations. Both describing the day as the ‘best in their lives’ the Bride had everyone in tears (including herself) when making her way down the aisle. Scroll down for more details about their intimate day.

The Venue ~ Summer Grove Estate

We got married in the Tweed Hinterlands and came across the venue by accident. It had everything we wanted - the ceremony & reception were at the same venue so we didn’t have to leave for any photos. It had stunning sunsets and was the perfect balance of ocean meets property backdrop.

"View the location before ~ it really helps when organising the reception details. Making sure you have a kind, reliable & efficient wedding co-ordinator at the venue also helps".

The Dress ~ Perfect Day Bridal

Our whole wedding was a simple style so I chose a timeless dress to match this. I tried on everything & couldn’t decide between a full skirt style or a fitted style, so ended up going for both. I chose a French Crepe dress with an over skirt that I took off after the ceremony & added details with veil & accessories.

"Try on every style of dress, you may fall in love with the one you least expect, and if you don’t you get a good chuckle with your girlfriends anyways!"

The Jewellery ~ Witt & Pearl

I chose the Elizabeth Pearl studs and I have literally worn them everyday since. I had a beautiful headband to tie in the little lace detailing at the bottom of my veil and wanted comfortable, classically stunning earrings. As my dress was strapless I didn’t want anything hanging and you absolutely can never go wrong with pearl studs.

You can find Danielle's Earrings here.

My bridesmaids wore the gold Rebecca’s. They had navy high neck dresses with their hair back aswell so I wanted some thing that had a bit of a drop, was going to be comfortable, was elegant, but still popped in the photos.

The Style

Our wedding was very minimalistic and timeless. We had everything natural and white and I wouldn’t change it at all! I want to look back on photos in the years to come and still love the timeless elegance about our special day. Everything was really simple as the venue itself was incredible so there was no need to overdo it.

The Guestlist

We found our guest list extremely tricky as we got married in the middle of covid and it was touch and go for a while there. At the end of the day we could only have our immediate family, bridal party and a handful of friends but we were just grateful to be able to go ahead with the wedding.

Our wedding was truely the best day of my life. Being surrounded by your nearest and dearest to celebrate your relationship, there’s nothing else quite like it.

I Do’s & Don'ts

*Be sure to take some time out of your day to take it all in, it is over before you know it.

*Get a Photo Booth- the photos from the start of the night to the end are hilarious and this way your family and friends can keep a copy too.

*Make sure you eat- the hangover is real!

*Do no stress over other people, it’s your day. They have had theirs or will have theirs in the future.

*Things are going to go wrong, but no one will know but you! Do not stress over it!
